The reason behind the business...

Every business has a why, why was the business created? If you have made it this far, I am pretty certain that you can probably understand the reason behind this business! You guessed it, Bear.

As a child, and throughout my entire life in fact, I have been surrounded by dogs. I come from generations of dog lovers, with every single one of my family members having owned or owning a dog today. Therefore, it was what I have always known and I was so eager to get my very own pup. Then along came Bear...

Prior to Bear arriving on the scene, I had been involved in the lives of many dogs, walking and caring for them as soon as I could hold a lead. When Bear arrived I was absolutely over the moon, totally made up that I had got my very own puppy, a companion that I could do absolutely everything with, what I failed to account for was the challenges I would face.

I will be the first to admit that I underestimated the challenge, but 3 years on, with Bears training journey having progressed very nicely, I decided that it was time to use this passion and determination to help anyone and everyone I could with their dog. This is when Bear Necessities was born.

It is mine (and Bear's by extension) mission to help and contribute to as many dog's lives as we possibly can, we won't stop until we have achieved this.
